Lead Solar Electrician / Lead Solar Installer
📍 Wiltshire
💷 £55,000–£60,000 per year + Company Van + Fuel Card + Pension + Paid Holidays + Manufacturer Training

We specialise in premium domestic solar PV and battery storage systems across Wiltshire and the surrounding areas, using industry-leading products including AIKO and Sigenergy.

The Role
As our Lead Solar Electrician / Lead Installer, you’ll take ownership of installations from start to finish, ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Install domestic solar PV systems.
- Install AIKO solar panels on pitched roofs.
- Install flat roof solar systems and mounting frameworks.
- Install rail and roof mounting systems.
- Install Sigenergy battery storage systems.
- Install Sigenergy Gateways and whole-home backup systems.
- Complete all AC and DC electrical works associated with solar installations.
- Consumer unit upgrades where required.
- Testing, commissioning and fault finding.
- Deliver exceptional workmanship and maintain high standards on every installation.
- Provide a professional, friendly experience for every customer.

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition
- Proven experience installing domestic solar PV systems
- Experience completing all electrical works associated with solar and battery installations
- Experience installing roof mounting systems
- Experience with flat roof solar installations
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Experience with Sigenergy systems (training can be provided for the right candidate)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
- ECS Gold Card
- Experience with GSE In-Roof systems
- EV charger installation experience
- Battery storage experience
- Bird protection installation
