Role: Digital / E-commerce Solution Architect (MERN, Microservices)

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid)

Availability: Immediate

Type of engagement: Contract (Inside IR35) or Permanent

About the role:

We're looking for an experienced Digital / E-commerce Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of innovative digital commerce solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape customer-facing platforms, loyalty initiatives, and modern digital experiences within a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

In this role, you'll be responsible for defining and implementing end-to-end solution architectures across web and mobile channels, driving the adoption of modern technologies including MERN Stack, Microservices Architecture, Single Page Applications (SPA), and API-led integrations. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that enhance customer engagement and support the organization's digital transformation strategy.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect delivering digital and eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience with:
    • MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)
    • Microservices Architecture
    • Single Page Applications (SPA)
    • Mobile App Integrations
  • Strong understanding of digital architecture frameworks and best practices.
  • Knowledge of IT governance and delivery standards.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP CRM.
