Lead Solutions Architect (Containerized Solutions)

The Role
As a Lead Solutions Architect specialising in containerised solutions, you will play a crucial, pioneering role in a new initiative. Your primary focus is leading the deployment of these solutions within our customer environments.
Solutions Architects are vital members of our project teams, often serving as the initial technical point of contact for our customers and key technical stakeholders for a successful deployment of Celonis. To ensure our customers achieve value, you will drive the technical setup required to leverage the full range of Celonis features and functionalities, including:
- Process mining
- Execution management
- Process automation
- Action Flow
- Task mining
Given the unique nature of every customer environment, you will be the key liaison for translating a customer’s technical requirements to ensure successful deployment on the clients’ infrastructure and successful integrations with their source systems. Furthermore, you will lead discussions on user management and authentication, acting as a technical partner to remove any technical barriers to user adoption.
Responsibilities
Technical Delivery
- Serve as the key technical stakeholder on the Celonis side for successful technical delivery and onboarding of Celonis for enterprise clients.
- Lead technical discussions to:
- Analyse customer architecture
- Recommend optimal solutions
- Facilitate deployment while managing expectations amidst technical constraints
- Remove technical obstacles to maximise Celonis user adoption, clarifying technical risks and trade-offs.
Solution Architecture
- Promote reusability by choosing between dedicated customer solutions or broader platform enhancements, collaborating with Celonis product development.
- Establish real-time data integrations between customer systems and Celonis via APIs and internal tools.

- Authentication
- User/group management
- Provisioning
- Drive user adoption of Celonis by eliminating technical barriers.
Requirements
Experience
- Proven experience of 7+ years, with at least 3 years deploying and managing containerised applications on Kubernetes.
- Advanced knowledge of at least one specific Kubernetes distribution (e.g., Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, RedHat OpenShift).
Technical Proficiency
- UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required; existing clearance is a strong advantage.
- Extensive understanding of best practices for deploying, scaling, and maintaining highly available, secure, and resilient containerised applications, ensuring:
- Efficient resource utilisation
- Operational stability
- Proven experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform) is required; Helm or Kustomize experience is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in additional tools like:
- ArgoCD
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions
- Ansible
- Experience with one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with modern tech stacks and methods such as:
- REST/SOAP API Management
- Data Ingestion & Streaming (e.g., Kafka)
- SSO, LDAP, IT Security
- Agile methodologies
- Experience with Python, SQL, and data pipelines/ETL processes for large volumes of data is a plus.
Security & Compliance
- Knowledgeable about security and compliance topics for enterprise applications.
Project & Leadership
- Solid experience in project management
- Outstanding customer-centric experience working with clients
- A solution-oriented professional who:

- Can transfer complex technical knowledge into understandable terms for broader audiences
