About Citrix Unity—Transforming Secure Workspace Solutions
With the acquisition of Unicon, Citrix is now offering customers a secure client OS and endpoint management solution that enhances endpoint security, resilience, and operational efficiency, ensuring seamless access to corporate applications and desktops. Enterprises can also extend the lifecycle of existing assets through eLux while transitioning away from end-of-support Windows 10.
Overview
We are expanding our team and seek a Lead Solutions Specialist for eLux & Scout to shape the future of secure and modern workplaces. Your mission: incorporate **Unicon’s eLux—Highly Secure Linux-Based OS—and Scout (centralized endpoint management) into Citrix’s platform, enabling scalable, high-performance secure digital workspace solutions.
Your role builds on Citrix’s technical foundation—VDI, DaaS, Zero Trust access, and high-performance secure application delivery—to deliver end-to-end secure digital workspaces, strategically integrating eLux’s lightweight endpoint security and Scout’s centralized management, including management, monitoring, and updates.
For industries like Public Services and Healthcare, your work ensures enterprises can securely deploy, monitor, and manage digital workspaces at scale. By optimizing platform access, you enable flexible, high-performance, cross-device access—reinforcing Citrix’s leadership in secure digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Leadership

Deploy & Configure Architectures Design and implement scalable, secure keyless-client and heirlessness architectures leveraging Unicon's eLux (lightweight Linux-based OS) and Scout (endpoint management) to effectively reduce breaches and operational burden while ensuring seamless, modern, digitally managed workspaces.

Lead Feature Development Drive the development of critical end-to-end endpoint security features, management capabilities, and optimizations for eLux and Scout, bolstering their integration into the Citrix ecosystem. Prioritize technical solutions that improve device lifecycle, performance, and custodian-free operations.

Champion Process Improvements Lead continuous efficiency improvements in IT endpoint security processes, focusing on secure remote device management and OS standardization to streamline workflows. Ensure eLux and Scout in Citrix VDI/DaaS + Web Apps ecosystems meet modern demands for resilience, operational excellence, and security.

- Develop Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) with Customers Work closely with enterprise organizations to conceptualize and validate use cases, proving eLux and Scout capabilities in tasks like secure hypervisorization, remote endpoint wrangling, and digital workspace optimization.
Cross-team Collaboration

Contribute to Technical Roadmap Share expert insights with Unicon's eLux and Scout technical roadmap planning.

Provide Technical Leadership Foster a culture of technical excellence and teamwork, guiding teams in proficiently deploying eLux and Scout to achieve scalable yet secure digital workspace environments.

Collaborate Across Functions Partner with Product Managers, Sales, and technical teams to build and support secure device use and management solutions, aligning eLux/Scout capabilities with Citrix platform priorities.
Customer Success & Advocacy

Advocate Best Practices Relay experiences in endpoint security, IT automation, and cloud-based digital management to promote scalable best-practice adoption across enterprises within the Citrix VDI/DaaS ecosystem.

Engage with Stakeholders Align customer and partner needs—observing technology lapses and ensuring new features effectively meet demands for resilient, connected digital workspaces.

Foster Platform Adoption Collaborate with enterprise customers to ensure seamless integration and adoption, including deployment, lifecycle management and technical support, nurturing relationships for higher satisfaction and adoption of Citrix’s solutions.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements
- An in-depth knowledge of thin-client computing, modern secure digital workspaces, specializing in deploying and managing end-to-end eLux and Scout.
- 5+ years of expertise in IT architecture, endpoint management, or systems engineering, prioritizing secure operations management and cloud-based digital workspace environments.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security, OS automation, and cloud-based device lifecycle management, with expertise in Citrix DaaS, VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), and IT automation technologies.

Knowledge of Essential Platforms
Inevitably, a skillset that includes:
- Cisco Mangemement Centred Workspace Integration or IDEM-based management;
- A background of large scale pixel streaming, device management, and secure automation structures;
- Comprehensive desktop virtualization techniques—Centralized, self-service, managed virtuality with Citrix’s suite ranging from DaaS to Web apps;
- Familiarity with Zero Trust methodologies and secure credentialing techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep experience in security best practices—including Implicit consent methodologies, Zero Trust integrated use-cases, encryption, and endpoint compliance management.
- An accomplished history in leading endpoint security and management roadmaps, including PoCs and IT strategy, culminating securely into customer-facing solutions.
