Lead Spa Therapist
We’re looking for a Lead Spa Therapist to join the opening team at Elysium St Mawes within our new boutique hotel.
With two treatment rooms and a hydro pool, this will be a hands-on role combining exceptional treatment delivery with responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the spa.
You’ll be creating a calm, welcoming and highly personalised experience for our guests, while also supporting the wider hotel team and helping us shape the spa experience from the very beginning.
What you will be doing
- Delivering a range of professional spa, massage, facial and body treatments to an consistently high standard
- Carrying out appropriate guest consultations before treatments, identifying individual needs, preferences, contraindications and any relevant health considerations.
- Ensuring all spa guests are offered and served refreshments, including drinks, throughout their visit
- Taking responsibility for the daily operation and presentation of the spa, ensuring the hydro pool, treatment rooms, changing areas and relaxation spaces are clean, welcoming and appropriately prepared throughout the day.
- Providing day-to-day leadership and support to other therapists working within the spa
- Leading by example in guest service, professional standards, punctuality, presentation and teamwork.

- An experienced and qualified therapist
- Warm, professional and naturally guest-focused
- Confident delivering massage, facial and body treatments
- Organised and comfortable taking ownership of the spa operation
- Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences
- Commercially aware and confident recommending treatments and products
