Role Purpose

Wood Mackenzie moved under Private Equity ownership in 2023 and is now executing on its Value Creation Plan to deliver high growth. As part of this growth plan, and to help embed a go-to-market transformation, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the global Marketing team within Product Marketing, supporting the oils & gas portfolios.

We are looking for someone who thrives within a fast-paced, dynamic global business, who has a good understanding of the energy markets, and who has a strong sense of storytelling so they can pull together compelling customer narratives across a portfolio of products in support of business priorities.

This role sits at the intersection of Product Marketing, Sales, and Growth Marketing, ensuring our portfolio resonates with target customers, supports pipeline progression, and enables upsell and cross-sell opportunities. You will be able to translate portfolio strategy into clear, audience-specific positioning, messaging, and commercial enablement that is clearly articulated, understood, and consistently delivered.

While this role is initially a fixed-term contract role, there is the potential to extend this into a full-time role based on need and performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
