We are currently searching for a Lead Staffing and Travel Coordinator to join our RHRP Staffing/Travel team to work in the following locations: Newnan, Georgia; Belton, Texas; and Chalfont, PA offices. We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

  • U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
  • Army National Guard (ARNG)
  • U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
  • U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
  • U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
  • Air National Guard (ANG)
  • U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Lead the daily operations of the Regional Staffing & Travel Coordination team.
  • Conduct Staffing/Travel Daily Meetings (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday): Lead recurring staffing and travel meetings with the Operations Team to review staffing shortages, discuss travel needs, address questions, and coordinate coverage and scheduling to ensure operational readiness.
  • Coordinate staffing assignments for healthcare providers and support personnel across regional operations.
  • Prioritize staffing requests based on operational urgency and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor staffing coverage and proactively identify provider shortages.
  • Partner with Recruiting to communicate staffing gaps and hiring priorities.
  • Review and approve staffing assignments to ensure qualifications, credentials, and licensing requirements are met.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including airfare, lodging, rental vehicles, and ground transportation.
  • Ensure all travel is booked in accordance with company travel policies and budget guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve travel disruptions, cancellations, and last-minute scheduling changes.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex staffing and travel issues.
  • Assign daily work and balance workloads among Staffing & Travel Coordinators.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  • Assist with onboarding and development of new coordinators.
  • Develop and maintain Team schedules.
  • Monitor event readiness to ensure providers, travel, and logistics are in place prior to deployment.
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers, Travel Manager, Credentialing, HR, and Program Management to support operational objectives.
  • Verify provider availability and maintain consistent communication throughout the deployment process.
  • Maintain accurate staffing, scheduling, and travel records within company systems.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of staffing and travel documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Track staffing metrics, travel metrics, and operational performance indicators.
  • Prepare staffing reports and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, government contract requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Support emergency staffing efforts and rapidly respond to changing operational priorities.
  • Foster positive relationships with providers to improve engagement, retention, and overall provider experience.
  • Participate in after-hours staffing support or on-call rotation, as operational needs require.
  • Assist leadership with workforce planning, staffing forecasts, and surge planning initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting workflows, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and recommending best practices.
  • Promote a collaborative, customer-focused culture while maintaining a high level of accountability and operational excellence.
  • All other duties assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree; candidates with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant management experience will also be considered.
  • Previous training and experience with travel software highly preferred.
