Structural Lead Data Centre Construction

£95,000 - £120,000 + Accommodation + Travel + Living Allowance
Blyth, England, United Kingdom (On-Site)
Full-Time

We're recruiting for an experienced Structural Lead to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors on a major hyperscale project based in Blyth, England.

This is a senior site leadership role responsible for managing and coordinating all structural (CSA) works across a large-scale mission-critical data centre project, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-programme delivery from construction through to commissioning and handover.

As Structural Lead, you will take ownership of structural delivery planning, subcontractor management, performance tracking, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring full alignment between design, site delivery, commercial, and project controls teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all structural works across the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement structural delivery plans, procedures, and reporting systems.
  • Manage subcontractors and monitor structural progress, manpower, and productivity.
  • Oversee cost tracking, forecasting, and overall project performance.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
  • Drive QA/QC compliance and ensure quality targets are achieved.
  • Coordinate with design teams, clients, and key project stakeholders.
  • Monitor risks, delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead site coordination and progress meetings.
  • Support commissioning readiness and project close-out activities.
  • Promote strong HSE standards and site culture across all structural works.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and progress tracking.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
