Position Description

Lead Support Analyst, Trading Applications

Lead Support Analyst, Trading Applications will be part of the Global OMS/EMS support team responsible for handling OMS/EMS L1/L2 requests from CLSA trading desk, clients, vendors, brokers, and exchanges.

The duties include daily trading operations desk support for various trading desks of High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities, SWAP desk, and F&O desk.

The person should be able to understand and work with infra teams to setup connectivity between external parties including Exchanges and external brokers.

The Lead Support Analyst will be required to work in shifts to provide support across the Asia, US, and Europe markets while working closely with the Application Support teams based in CLSA Pune, the US, and Australia.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Provide L1/L2 support for OMS/EMS applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and trading-related issues
  • Support daily trading operations across High Touch and Low Touch Cash Equities, SWAP, and Futures & Options (F&O) trading desks
  • Monitor trading application health, connectivity, and order flow to ensure uninterrupted trading operations
  • Liaise with traders, clients, brokers, exchanges, vendors, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Work closely with infrastructure and network teams to establish, maintain, and troubleshoot connectivity with exchanges, brokers, and other external counterparties
  • Coordinate with global Application Support teams in Pune, the US, and Australia to ensure seamless follow-the-sun support coverage across Asia, US, and Europe markets
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews, driving preventive measures and continuous service improvements
  • Maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and knowledge repositories while contributing to process automation and efficiency initiatives

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related IT field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in FIX technology with good experience in FIX certification and FIX client onboarding.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Broker / Dealer environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency, and Program FIX environment.
  • Good understanding of Trade Flow systems such as CONNECT< and Order Management such as Fidess, Flextrade.
  • Good knowledge of exchange rules of Asian markets.
  • Good understanding of Algo trading, SWAP, of SWAP, Future & Options business in a DMA & DSA FIX environment.
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to interact with Vendors and Traders.
  • Strong attention to details, proactive mindset, and a good team player.
