Main duties of the job
We are recruiting for a team lead for our End User Devices team.
This person will share leadership responsibilities alongside one other post - reporting into the Digital Operations Manager.
This role is a focus on day to day team management, ticket allocation, managing our internally developed VDI platform and working across other digital teams including the IT Service Desk.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
This role is responsible for leading and supporting an operational support team ensuring operational effectiveness of the Trust’s digital systems
- Lead on day-to-day management of the team including resources, capacity planning, efficiencies and incidents.
- Maintaining and co-ordinating a high standard of operational service delivery to the users ensuring continuity and achievement of KPIs.

Person specification
Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience
Essential criteria
- Degree or post-graduate degree, or equivalent work experience relevant to the post
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable IT training and use in a corporate/ health environment
- Customer facing role with service skills
- Previous Operational system support role
- Evidence of leadership and practical IT implementation
- Evidence of document production and presentation
- Experience of working to demanding timetables and exacting standards
- Practical use of SQL
- Process redesign experience
- Process flow analysis
Desirable criteria
- ITIL qualification
- NHS Experience
- Database Reporting tool experience
