Lead Systems Administrator - up to £75k
Location: London + Hybrid working options
We’re seeking a hands-on Lead Systems Administrator / Senior Systems Engineer to own and improve the internal infrastructure and End user environment in a fast-paced scale-up business.
This opportunity would suit an experienced candidate who enjoys broad technical ownership in a collaborative environment and is able to lead the implementation of more formal systems processes and automation.
The role will make tangible impact across Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and internal IT services. Experience of regulated or sensitive data environments is desirable.

Key Responsibilities
- You’ll manage the AWS infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID environments with Windows and MacOS endpoints support.
- Automation of routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, etc.
- Maintain Networking, DNS, VPN, and firewall configurations.
- Strengthen cybersecurity processes alongside the Head of Cyber.
- Resolve internal support requests and maintain clear technical documentation.
What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years’ systems engineering, administration, or infrastructure support experience.
- The ability to adapt and be proactive in a growing business - scale-up experience is a plus.
- Strong experience in AWS, or hybrid AWS / Azure environments.
- Established background in Microsoft 365 and Intune.
- Solid knowledge of Networking fundamentals.
- Scripting, Automation, or IaC skills.
- Practical understanding of Cybersecurity, Info Security.
Note: Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and be happy commuting to London 2 days per week.
