Role Description

The Lead Taker role is a part-time, on-site position based at Schmidt Warrington-Altrincham in Warrington. This role focuses on greeting showroom visitors, engaging potential clients, and capturing accurate contact details and project information for follow-up by the design team.

  • Maintaining records of leads in the company’s systems

The Lead Taker also supports the showroom team by:

  • Preparing materials for client appointments
  • Ensuring the showroom is presentable
  • Collaborating with colleagues to provide a welcoming customer experience

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and communicate clearly with diverse clients.
  • Basic sales support and lead generation skills, including experience in capturing prospect information and booking appointments.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail when recording client data and updating systems.
  • Comfort using computers and digital tools, such as CRM systems, email, and scheduling software.
  • Professional, friendly demeanor and a client-focused approach in a showroom or retail environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Warrington during agreed part-time hours, including some weekends if required.
  • Previous experience in interiors, retail, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not essential.
