Hybrid - London Waterloo
At Currys we’re united by one passion: to help everyone enjoy amazing technology. As the UK’s best-known retailer of tech, we’re proud of the service our customers receive – and it’s all down to our team of 25,000 caring and committed colleagues. Working as one team, we learn and grow together, celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.
You'll be part of our Talent Acquisition team, sitting within the wider People, Comms and Sustainability function. We find, attract and hire the best talent for Currys – working closely with the business to understand what great looks like and making sure we find it. We bring market intelligence, hiring expertise and a proactive approach to every business conversation. It's a role where you'll be genuinely embedded in the business areas you support, not just responding to briefs as they land.
You'll work closely with People Partners, hiring managers and senior leaders across your defined business areas, sitting alongside them in their planning conversations and helping shape their thinking on talent. You'll work closely with your Senior TA Manager and the Planning and Partnership Manager every day, agreeing how resource is deployed and making sure delivery is on track. You'll also work with the Attraction team to make sure the right people are hearing about the right opportunities at Currys.
Role overview
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Hold a seat at the table with your business area leadership teams – attending planning meetings, understanding their goals and making sure hiring is always one step ahead of what they need.
- Build and own a forward-looking hiring plan for your areas, working with People Partners and senior leaders to anticipate demand and act on it before it becomes urgent.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior and specialist roles across your areas, owning the brief, the approach and the outcome, working with the Planning and Partnership Manager to deploy resource effectively to meet hiring needs.
- Utilise data and insight provided by the Planning and Partnership Manager to give your business area a complete picture of hiring performance across all delivery channels.
- Bring market intelligence and external insight into every hiring conversation, helping leaders understand what's available, what's realistic and how Currys can compete for the best people.
- Develop talent pipelines and build relationships with great candidates before there's a vacancy, so the business is never starting from scratch.
- Champion inclusion and diversity and internal mobility across your areas, making sure hiring decisions are fair, consistent and evidence based.
- Support the Senior TA Manager on projects and People Plan initiatives, contributing your business area knowledge and recruitment expertise to get the right outcomes.
- Partner with the Attraction team on employer brand activity, making sure every candidate has a great experience of Currys.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
