Lead Tax Analyst
We are looking for a Lead Tax Analyst to join our global Tax team.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Indirect Tax Director, this role will be an integral part of the wider Tax function and will support indirect tax compliance and reporting across the group.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical and hands-on VAT/GST experience who is looking to deepen their exposure to global indirect tax matters within a fast-growing, international business.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience working in international VAT/GST
- Previous experience with financial data reports and filings relating to VAT

- Experience with general ledger reconciliations
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Oracle EBS, NetSuite) and/or tax technology or data tools (e.g. Alteryx, OneStream, Vertex, OneSource)
- Advanced Microsoft skills
What Will You Be Doing in This Role?
- Prepare and coordinate global indirect tax filings (VAT/GST)
- Support accurate group-level VAT reporting and compliance
- Maintain and update the global indirect tax risk register
- Assist with tax audits, including data analysis and audit support
- Work closely with managers and other stakeholders on indirect tax matters
- Support the wider global tax function on ad-hoc indirect tax projects
About the Team
This role is based in our London office and will report to the Indirect Tax Director. You will join a diverse team of 12 colleagues (based in the UK and India), forming part of Clarivate’s global, centralised Tax function. The wider Tax leadership team is based in the US.
The Indirect Tax team has deep expertise in global VAT/GST rules for digital services, alongside strong practical experience managing compliance and reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions. You will be working closely with knowledgeable and supportive colleagues in a collaborative environment.

Hours of Work
This is a fixed term position (maternity cover), based in London, UK and will require hybrid working in our London office (2 days per week in office). This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
