Lead Technical Architect (C#, Python, Java) - £100k | Consultancy | Tech4Good | B-Corp | Edinburgh/ hybrid

This isn't a case of inheriting a team or keeping the lights on.

What you'll be doing 👇

  • Lead architecture across complex software engineering and transformation programmes
  • Shape solutions from the ground up rather than simply inheriting legacy platforms
  • Make meaningful technology decisions and have genuine influence over how solutions are designed and delivered
  • Work directly with senior client stakeholders, engineers and other architects to turn complex business problems into pragmatic technical solutions
  • Move across different clients, industries and technology stacks - no getting pigeonholed into one area
  • Help develop other engineers and architects, contributing to the wider technical community

  • Design scalable, secure and commercially viable technical solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Coding background (C#, Java or Python)
  • Translate complex business needs into clear architecture designs, technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Lead technical workshops and provide architecture guidance to engineering, delivery and client stakeholders throughout projects.
  • Support pre-sales activity, including solution scoping, technical proposals, estimations and client presentations.
