Careers at TCS: It means more

TCS is a purpose-led transformation company, built on belief. We do not just help businesses to transform through technology. We support them in making a meaningful difference to the people and communities they serve - our clients include some of the biggest brands in the UK and worldwide. For you, it means more to make an impact that matters, through challenging projects which demand ambitious innovation and thought leadership.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Architect (OIC, OCI) to support a large-scale transformation program by defining the target-state integration architecture, cloud platform architecture, security framework, deployment topology, and technical design principles for Oracle-based enterprise solutions.

The architect will work with enterprise architects, application owners, infrastructure teams, security teams, business process leads, and delivery leadership to establish a scalable, secure, resilient, and governance-aligned technical foundation for Oracle Fusion, surrounding applications, enterprise integrations, and cloud-hosted services.

This role is strictly focused on the pre-implementation phase, including current-state assessment, solution blueprinting, integration architecture design, OCI platform design, connectivity planning, environment strategy, security architecture, non-functional design, migration readiness, and governance alignment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define the target-state technical architecture covering Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Fusion integrations, middleware patterns, and enterprise connectivity
  • Conduct current-state technical assessment of applications, interfaces, hosting landscape, integration dependencies, and cloud readiness
  • Prepare and own architecture blueprints, technical solution designs, integration principles, environment strategy, and non-functional architecture artifacts
  • Define the enterprise integration architecture including synchronous/asynchronous patterns, event-driven design, API strategy, file-based integrations, orchestration patterns, and error-handling framework
  • Design the OIC architecture and deployment model, including connectivity agents, integration instances, security model, monitoring considerations, and integration governance standards
  • Define the OCI architecture including landing zone alignment, network topology, connectivity, security foundations, environment segmentation, and resilience considerations for integration and platform components
  • Establish security and access architecture including identity integration, role-based access, secrets management, certificate strategy, encryption principles, logging, and auditability requirements
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to define end-to-end technical dependencies across Oracle Fusion, third-party systems, legacy platforms, SaaS applications, databases, and external partner ecosystems
  • Define migration and technical readiness strategy including interface rationalization, dependency mapping, workload placement considerations, and design assumptions prior to build
  • Support architecture governance by tracking risks, assumptions, constraints, standards, and key technical decisions for stakeholder and design authority approvals

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
