Lead Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a high-performing regional Technical Consultant team, ensuring consistent delivery through regular 1-to-1s, performance reviews, and structured mentorship.
- Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency by refining workflows, processes, and technologies to optimize IT service delivery and meet client expectations.
- Empowering Growth: Identify skills gaps and implement tailored training programs to upskill the team, ensuring readiness for evolving challenges.
- Collaboration & Communication: Host regular team meetings to share updates, operational insights, and foster a cohesive, collaborative work environment.
- Quality & Compliance: Conduct quality control reviews of documentation, ensuring adherence to operational standards and best practices.
- Client-Focused Operations: Provide on-site consultancy and manage IT operations for key clients, ensuring seamless system performance and client satisfaction.
- Recruitment & Talent Management: Play a pivotal role in hiring and building a team equipped to deliver high-level IT services and operational support.
- Strategic Contribution: Represent the regional team in leadership meetings, contributing to the overall operational strategy and vision of the business.
- Service Auditing: Shadow and audit team members’ work to maintain operational consistency and uphold service quality.
- Escalation Management: Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical and operational challenges, supporting the team in resolving critical issues.
- Client Solutions & Projects: Oversee and deliver tailored IT operational solutions and manage complex projects from inception to completion.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing IT teams, preferably in an MSP environment, with a strong focus on operational leadership.
- Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, server hardware, operating systems, hypervisors, and networking equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage escalations in high-pressure environments.
- Commitment to ongoing development, ideally with or working toward Microsoft Expert-level certifications.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical details into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- A collaborative and approachable leadership style that inspires trust and growth within your team.
