Lead Technical Product Manager, Pharma Solutions

Perspectum is seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager, Pharma Solutions to play a pivotal role in bridging Product Management with R&D, Engineering, Science, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations teams. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the technical development of innovative healthcare and clinical research solutions used across the pharmaceutical industry.

About The Role

As Lead Technical Product Manager, you will own the integrated technical roadmap across the Pharma Solutions portfolio, ensuring customer, market and clinical trial requirements are translated into clear, achievable, and prioritised development plans. Working closely with Product Managers, you will provide portfolio-level oversight of technical delivery, helping teams navigate dependencies, resources, risks, and competing priorities.

You will act as the key interface between Pharma Solutions and the teams responsible for developing and maintaining our products and technologies, ensuring development activity aligns with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the Pharma Solutions technical product roadmap.
  • Translate customer and market needs into technical requirements and development priorities.
  • Work closely with Engineering, R&D, Science, Regulatory, Quality and Operations teams to drive delivery.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and resource constraints.
  • Provide portfolio-level reporting and escalation of key delivery challenges.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Perspectum's products and their technical capabilities.
  • Support customer-facing technical discussions and clinical trial initiatives.
  • Create product training and technical enablement materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of product development and release processes.

About You

We're looking for an experienced technical product leader with:

  • Significant experience in product management, product development, or a related role within healthcare, medical technology, clinical research, life sciences, or another regulated environment.
  • A strong track record of translating business and customer needs into technical product requirements.
  • Experience managing complex product roadmaps across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent programme management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with technical, scientific, commercial and senior leadership audiences.
  • A collaborative approach and proven ability to influence across cross-functional teams.

Desirable Experience

  • Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, medical imaging, or clinical trial environments.
  • Regulated software or medical device development.
  • Working directly with pharmaceutical customers.
  • Knowledge of imaging, biomarker, or related healthcare technologies.
