The Role

SSE IT is looking for a highly self-motivated individual to fill the role of Oracle Integration Cloud Technical Specialist. The successful applicant will be working as part of the Corporate Solutions Delivery and Support Group. This is a challenging role and we are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and versatile individual.

Reporting to the Oracle EBS Technical Delivery and Support team’s Team Leader you will be mainly responsible for the day to day technical support and development of SSE’s business critical Oracle platform in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. With minimal support from the Lead Technical Specialist you will be involved in the design, development, and delivery of Oracle Cloud integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, LMS) and external systems. You will provide day-to-day support and quality assurance for a variety of customers. You will work closely with Technical Leads, Functional Leads, and Client Stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and performant integration solutions leveraging OIC, Oracle SaaS APIs, and complementary OCI services.

This role demands strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Visual Builder, and exposure to technologies such as Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle API Gateway, and OCI Vault. You are expected to mentor, own technical deliverables, and drive best practices for integration and automation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
