Senior / Lead UX Designer

Remote | Up to £100,000 + Benefits

We're partnering with a fast-growing SaaS technology business that is redefining how companies leverage AI-powered automation to drive commercial success. With a product-first culture and ambitious growth plans, they're looking for a Senior / Lead UX Designer to take ownership of complex user experiences and shape the future of an AI-driven platform used by thousands of businesses globally.

The Opportunity

As a Senior / Lead UX Designer, you'll be responsible for simplifying complex workflows and designing intuitive experiences for sophisticated AI-powered products.

  • Working closely with Product, Engineering and Design leadership, you'll influence product direction, champion user-centred thinking, and create seamless journeys that help users unlock value quickly.
  • You'll have significant autonomy, direct exposure to senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to establish UX best practice across a rapidly scaling organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead UX strategy across key product areas and customer journeys
  • Design end-to-end experiences for AI-powered workflows and automation tools
  • Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes and prototypes
  • Translate complex technical functionality into simple, intuitive interfaces
  • Conduct user research, usability testing and insight analysis
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout delivery
  • Drive continuous product improvement through data-led decision-making
  • Contribute to and evolve the design system
  • Champion accessibility, consistency and UX best practice
  • Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate research, prototyping and validation

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience in UX, Product Design or Interaction Design
  • Proven experience designing complex SaaS platforms
  • Strong expertise in information architecture and user journey mapping
  • Advanced Figma skills and modern prototyping capabilities
  • Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

  • Experience designing AI-powered products
  • Knowledge of AI-first design workflows and prototyping tools
  • Experience working in high-growth startup or scale-up environments
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Hotjar or similar
