About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to join our team. In this senior individual contributor role, you will be responsible for shaping world-class user experiences across multiple delivery channels. You will own complex, cross-functional design initiatives, setting high standards for visual craftsmanship, interaction design, and evidence-based decision-making. Your insights and leadership will directly influence the customer experience roadmap, driven by customer feedback and user research. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, data teams, and stakeholders across the organization, you will help drive both immediate improvements and long-term strategic UX evolution to enhance the usability and engagement of our products.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience in product-focused UX/UI design, with a robust portfolio demonstrating end-to-end work on complex, data-rich, or B2B/SaaS applications. You should have a proven ability to lead design initiatives independently and influence product direction effectively. Expert-level proficiency in Figma is essential, including skills in components, variants, tokens, auto-layout, prototyping, and managing design systems. Strong interaction design skills, impeccable visual design craft, and experience designing for multi-device and responsive layouts are required. Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, and metrics-driven iteration will be highly advantageous. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills are crucial, as is the ability to mentor and collaborate with less experienced designers. Knowledge of HTML/CSS, accessibility standards (WCAG), and experience within Agile environments are considered beneficial.

Responsibilities
- Design Leadership & Strategy: Lead end-to-end design processes for complex product initiatives, spanning discovery to delivery across multiple channels and customer segments. Translate ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, design directions, and impactful solutions. Advocate for evidence-based design practices by shaping research questions, success metrics, and measurement plans.
- Design Delivery: Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes using Figma at an expert level. Facilitate stakeholder alignment through storytelling, structured communication, workshops, and walkthroughs. Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of craft, accessibility, and usability.
- Mentorship & Team Support: Provide informal leadership, guidance, and constructive feedback to junior and mid-level designers. Conduct design critiques, share best practices, and promote systems thinking and UX fundamentals to elevate team capabilities.
- Data-Driven Design: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to define success metrics and measurable UX outcomes. Use analytics tools such as Heap to validate assumptions and inform iterative design improvements.
- Design System & UI Standards: Extend and refine the company's design system by developing scalable, accessible components, tokens, and patterns. Document design standards to ensure consistency across teams and identify opportunities for product convergence to improve coherence and efficiency.
- Research & Customer Insight: Partner with researchers or independently conduct lean testing, usability studies, concept validation, and rapid experiments. Translate insights into actionable design decisions and iterate based on user feedback.
- Collaboration & Quality: Work closely with engineering teams throughout the build process, providing support, clarification, and quality assurance to maintain design integrity. Maintain organized, well-structured Figma files with clear notes, naming conventions, and version control.
