Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Hello Vet

At Hello Vet, we’re redefining what modern veterinary care looks like, and that starts with creating the best possible environment for our people.

As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping both clinical excellence and team culture within your clinic. You’ll be empowered with the tools, structure, and support needed to deliver the highest quality of care, while also leading and developing a high-performing, engaged team. Just as importantly, we’re committed to protecting your work-life balance, so you can thrive both professionally and personally.

You’ll have the clinical freedom to practise contextualised care, tailoring your approach to the individual needs of each patient and their family, while guiding your team to do the same.

Why Hello Vet?

Hello Vet is built on a simple belief: if we create the best place for our teams to work, we create the best place for pets to receive care.

We foster meaningful relationships between vets, clients, and patients, from enabling direct messaging with our team to supporting owners during procedures. As a Lead Vet, you’ll champion this approach, helping your team deliver truly personalised care and exceptional client experiences.

Our purpose-built clinics and technology-driven systems are designed to support you and your team, reduce admin, and allow more time for what matters most: patient care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
