Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Web / Marketing Analyst to join our eCommerce Data team! Based from NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire!

The Role

The Data Team enables the department and the business to elevate understanding of customer behaviours, marketing investment and sales performance - what is working and what is not by articulating actionable insights from complex data.

As a Lead Web / Marketing Analyst, you will be at the heart of Next’s data driven growth strategy. Working closely with our marketing and trading team, you’ll support the delivery of high impact campaigns through exceptional analysis, clear articulation and robust reporting.

You won't just be "reporting" on the past; you will elevate our analytical maturity, transforming raw signals into actionable insights for scalable revenue growth from marketing investment.

What You’ll Take On

You'll lead the interpretation of marketing and web analytics data to drive strategic campaign decisions. Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Own analytics across key business areas, translating complex business questions into insight driven analysis with an 80/20 mindset.
  • Conduct deep dive investigations into what drives performance. You will provide the evidence needed to pivot strategies, scale successful campaigns, or cut inefficient spend.
  • Build scalable datasets and automated reporting solutions. You’ll identify unmet reporting needs and prioritise the development of tools that save time and add value.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Trade and Data teams, translating technical data into clear, commercially grounded recommendations that senior stakeholders can act on immediately.
  • Actively resolve data discrepancies and errors. You will continuously improve data quality, documentation and analytics standards across the department.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
