The Role:
Pixel Toys is looking for an inspiring Lead Web Programmer with the skills and personality to lead a team of talented web programmers, working on the web portal for one of our high profile, best in class games.
This is an opportunity to join an exciting team at a critical time in the projects’ development and develop and manage a team to push the limits of quality & performance. You will work alongside other Leads and Directors to set best in class standards on every aspect of development.
As a candidate for the Lead Web Programmer opening, you are expected to have proven experience within a similar role, with broad knowledge and experience working across a wide variety of technical challenges with a small or mid-sized technical team under your command. You will be in a pivotal position where you can help shape the technical parts of the web portal for the game and support the team doing so.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
