Job Title: Leadership Communications Lead
Location: Warwick / Hybrid
Contract Type: 6 months with scope to extend
About The Role
We are looking for a creative and experienced Leadership Communications Lead to support the delivery of leadership and manager communications across a complex organisation.
Working as part of the Internal Communications team, you will help translate strategic communications plans into engaging, practical communications that enable leaders and managers to communicate confidently with their teams.
This role focuses on ensuring business priorities, organisational updates, cultural initiatives and change programmes are effectively communicated through leadership communities. You will create high-quality communications, develop engaging campaigns and provide managers with the tools, guidance and content they need to successfully engage their teams.
While this role contributes to strategic communications objectives, its primary focus is on delivering creative, high-quality communications that bring those strategies to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of communications for leaders and people managers across the organisation.
- Develop engaging communications that help managers understand and communicate business priorities, organisational updates and change initiatives.
- Produce high-quality communication materials including leadership briefings, presentations, manager toolkits, talking points, FAQs, newsletters and employee communications.
- Support the delivery of leadership communication campaigns that drive employee engagement and organisational alignment.
- Translate strategic communications plans into practical communications that managers can confidently deliver to their teams.
- Create compelling content across a range of internal communication channels, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and audience-focused.
- Support leadership events, management briefings and organisational communication cascades.
- Collaborate with Internal Communications, HR, Executive teams and business stakeholders to ensure communication activity is aligned across the organisation.
- Gather feedback from leaders and managers to understand communication effectiveness, employee sentiment and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Use communication metrics, engagement data and audience insight to improve content, campaigns and communication channels.
- Contribute creative ideas and innovative approaches that enhance employee engagement and strengthen leadership communications.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Internal Communications, Leadership Communications, Employee Communications or Strategic Communications.
- Strong experience creating communications for senior leaders, people managers or leadership communities.
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop engaging content for a variety of audiences and channels.
- Experience developing leadership briefings, communication toolkits, manager communications, presentations and organisational communication campaigns.
- Good understanding of internal communication channels, employee engagement and leadership messaging.
- Experience supporting communication planning and implementing internal communication campaigns.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working with leaders and business stakeholders.
- Experience using communication metrics, feedback and employee insight to improve communication effectiveness.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop fresh ideas, engaging campaigns and innovative communication approaches.
