Interim Leadership Development Programme Manager

Remote | Contract until January 2027 | Strong Potential for Extension

We're supporting a leading organisation in the search for an experienced Leadership Development Programme Manager to join their Learning & Development team on an interim basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leadership development professional who can design, build and deliver impactful learning experiences for leaders across a large and complex organisation.

Working closely with an established Leadership Development Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping leadership capability, designing development programmes, and driving engagement across a population of approximately 400 leaders.

The Opportunity

This role has been created to provide additional support during a busy period of leadership development activity. You'll take ownership of several high-profile initiatives and be responsible for turning leadership development strategies into engaging and practical programmes that deliver measurable impact.

This is not a coordination role. We're looking for someone who can confidently design content, facilitate learning, manage stakeholders, and drive programme delivery from concept through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership Development Programme

A key priority will be the design and delivery of a new leadership development initiative for approximately 400 Single Accountable Leaders across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
