Leadership Excellence Coach / Freelance / Contract
3/4-Month Contract, Yate, Bristol
We are working with an awesome company that saves lives every day in Yate, Bristol, in the search for an experienced Leadership Excellence Coach to join them on an initial 4-month contract.
We are looking for someone who can elevate their leadership capability, strengthen management behaviours, and help embed a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the senior leadership team and managers across the business, coaching, mentoring and challenging them to become more effective leaders while supporting organisational change.
The Role
You'll act as a trusted coach and advisor, helping leaders develop the skills, confidence and behaviours needed to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor senior leaders, managers and supervisors.
- Assess current leadership capability and identify development opportunities.
- Deliver practical leadership workshops and one-to-one coaching sessions.
- Support organisational and cultural change initiatives.
- Embed Leadership Excellence principles across the business.
- Promote Lean thinking and continuous improvement within leadership teams.
- Work alongside operational leaders to improve engagement, accountability and performance.
- Challenge existing ways of working while building strong, trusted relationships.
- Leave behind sustainable leadership frameworks that continue beyond the contract.

About You
We're looking for someone who has successfully transformed leadership teams within manufacturing businesses.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Leadership Coach, Leadership Consultant or Organisational Development Consultant.
- Strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Demonstrable experience delivering Leadership Excellence programmes.
- Experience leading or supporting business transformation and change management initiatives.
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent coaching, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- The credibility to influence senior leadership teams and drive behavioural change.
- A recognised coaching qualification and/or Lean Six Sigma certification would be advantageous.

Contract Details
- Freelance / Contract
- Initial 4-month engagement or fixed contract.
- Near Yate, Bristol
- Primarily onsite to maximise engagement with the leadership team.
- Competitive day rate.
This assignment would suit an experienced leadership coach who enjoys working closely with manufacturing leadership teams, creating lasting behavioural change and leaving organisations stronger than when they arrived.
