Are you passionate about developing people, driving positive change, and creating outstanding leadership cultures? Leicester City Council is looking for a skilled and inspiring Leadership Programme Co-ordinator to design and deliver a high-quality leadership development programme across Children's and Adult Social Care. About The Role
As our Leadership Programme Co-ordinator, you'll take the lead in creating, implementing and evaluating innovative leadership development pathways for current and aspiring leaders. You'll work closely with senior leaders, managers, practitioners, organisational development colleagues and external partners to ensure our leadership offer is engaging, relevant and impactful.
You'll also champion Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) across all aspects of leadership development, helping to embed inclusive leadership behaviours and support organisational culture change.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and developing leadership programmes for leaders across Children's and Adult Social Care.
- Identifying leadership development needs and future workforce requirements.
- Creating and supporting the delivery of workshops, learning events, coaching and mentoring opportunities.
- Developing meaningful evaluation frameworks to measure impact and continuous improvement.
- Embedding Equality, Diversity and Inclusion throughout leadership development activities.
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to co-design learning that meets service needs.
- Building strong relationships with leaders, practitioners, partner agencies and external providers.
- Representing Leicester City Council within regional leadership development networks and forums.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced and motivated professional who can combine social care expertise with a passion for learning, development and leadership.
You'll bring
- Significant experience within Children's or Adult Social Care and/or Early Help services.
- Experience of training, coaching, mentoring and developing practitioners and leaders.
- Experience of leading people and managing performance.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, statutory social care frameworks and adult learning principles.
- Strong project management, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and creating inclusive learning environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree, Diploma or Master's in Social Work (or equivalent recognised Social Care qualification).
- Registration with the relevant professional body.

Additional Information
- Enhanced DBS check with children's and adults' barred list checks required.
- Occasional evening and weekend working may be required to meet service needs.
- Travel across Leicester and occasionally further afield may be required.

Package: Total benefit value (includes pension contribution and full holiday entitlement): GBP 68,546.61
