Ready to Lead from the Front?
We're looking for a proactive and hands-on Leading Hand to join our warehouse operation at ADC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse leadership experience who enjoys motivating teams, driving performance, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
As a Leading Hand, you'll play a key role in supporting the Shift Leader, coordinating daily warehouse activities, and ensuring operational targets are consistently achieved.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating a team of warehouse operatives
- Allocating workloads and resources to maximise productivity
- Supporting the achievement of site KPIs and operational objectives
- Promoting and maintaining high standards of health and safety
- Ensuring warehouse processes and documentation are completed accurately
- Supporting effective communication and shift handovers
- Deputising for the Supervisor or Shift Leader when required
- Working across different warehouse functions to support operational needs

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
- Team leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop others
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and coordinate resources effectively
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements
- A committed, reliable, and hands-on approach
Desirable
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
