Position: Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Location: Maidstone (Remote)
Salary: £70k

Rosemount Financial Solutions (IFA) Ltd is an independent, family-owned financial services network supporting advisers across Investment, Pension, Mortgage, Protection, Equity Release, and General Insurance advice.

As part of continued strategic growth, we have opportunities to join the network as a Registered Individual within an existing Rosemount Appointed Representative.

Role Overview:

As a Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Adviser, you will have the flexibility to manage your own business while benefiting from the support and resources of an established and reputable company. You will be responsible for providing expert mortgage advice, building strong client relationships, and guiding clients through the mortgage application process. Leads, paraplanning/administrative support, and a CRM will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional mortgage & protection advice to clients based on their individual needs and financial situations.
  • Assess clients' financial circumstances and recommend suitable mortgage products.
  • Liaise with lenders, estate agents, and other third parties to ensure smooth processing of mortgage applications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain a strong client base through networking, referrals, and effective marketing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the mortgage process.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of the mortgage market and financial products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using mortgage software and online tools.
