Lead Product Manager

Starting from £80,000 to £110,000 with Options & Benefits

Hybrid working

You’ll need to be able to work from our London office for three days a week, blended with remote working.

About Stream

Stream was founded with the mission to provide fair financial tools to the everyday worker. Offered through destination employers like Greene King, Bupa, Burger King, Asda and the NHS, our award-winning platform helps over three million people to earn, learn, save, spend and borrow on their own terms, all in one smartphone app.

Stream is unique: VC backed and growing at scale, but with a social conscience. Some of the world's leading impact funds were our founding investors, and we operate on a social charter, which means every product and service we create must measurably improve financial wellbeing.

You’d be joining a team of over 300 passionate, ambitious people across Europe and the USA, building a category-defining product, and united by that same mission.

This role

Stream was founded to disrupt the payday loan industry by giving workers access to their earned wages prior to payday, cutting out high-cost lenders and putting control back in people’s hands. The business has now evolved into a multi-product platform providing workers with access to high-interest savings, AI-powered financial education and affordable credit alongside earned wage access.

We’re hiring a Lead Product Manager who doesn’t need a fixed brief, but wants to play a critical role in the next phase of our growth journey. You’ll join our central product team, reporting to the CPO, and you’ll be deployed to wherever the biggest opportunity or hardest problem is at the time. Over a year, you will likely work on more than one of them.

Areas you could land in include:

  • Flexible Pay: Optimising our core earned wage access product, with a focus on further growth and engagement.
  • Core Product Experience: Taking a data-led approach to improving UX within our consumer-facing app.
  • New Product Development: Owning the delivery of one of our new product candidates end-to-end, from discovery through to a successful launch.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Why this role

  • Unusual breadth: We’re a B2B2C business spanning a huge range of categories and products. Few PM roles will offer you the opportunity to engage with such a varied set of problems.
  • Real ownership, fast: You’ll join a small team with real proximity to leadership. We have a strong bias towards shipping fast and avoiding waste, and you’ll be trusted to set a direction early.
  • Provable impact: Our social charter means that every product must measurably improve financial wellbeing for our three million platform users.

What you’ll do

  • Learn at pace: You’ll ramp into a new area in weeks, getting to grips with users, data, economics and constraints so that you can form a clear point of view on what matters most.
  • Own outcomes end to end: Take problems from discovery and validation through to launch and iteration. You’ll set the success metrics, scope the MVP and take accountability for results.
  • Make the commercial case: Size opportunities and model the economics across both our employer partners and the workers who use Stream.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders: You’ll drive delivery by working with Engineering, Data, Design, Compliance, New Business and Client Success, as well as engaging with senior stakeholders at our employer partners.
  • Build well in a regulated environment: Work closely with Compliance to ensure that FCA requirements feed into clear product decisions and user journeys.
  • Raise the bar on how we build: Use the latest tools to prototype, analyse and ship faster, and share what works with the wider team.

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • A proven track record of shipping user-facing mobile or web products end-to-end, from discovery through to launch.
  • A commercial mindset and strong quantitative skills. You’re comfortable digging into data yourself (SQL or similar), you understand unit economics, and you can build a business case that leadership acts on.
  • Evidence that you ramp up quickly in unfamiliar domains. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, and can set your own direction and work independently.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable working with internal leadership and senior external clients.
  • An AI-native way of working. You’re using AI tools day-to-day when prototyping, analysing data and conducting market research, and you can show that they’ve changed what you can deliver.
