About The Role

The Learner Engagement Advisor role in Nottingham offers a salary between £25,000 and £27,815, on a full-time, permanent contract. This position includes a 35-hour week with a 3:30pm finish each Friday, plus 34 days of annual leave including bank holidays. Hybrid working is available, blending home and office time. Your duties will involve guiding learners through their programmes, monitoring attendance and progress, and addressing any barriers to completion. Strong communication skills are essential for building rapport and providing clear advice. You will also maintain accurate records to support learner success. Pertemps Specialist Division is recruiting for this position, which comes with a profit share scheme, healthcare plan, and pension contributions.

We're Recruiting: Learner Engagement Advisor

I'm currently supporting a well-established and highly regarded training provider in Nottingham with the recruitment of a Learner Engagement Advisor.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in recruitment, customer service, employability, careers guidance, sales or learner engagement who enjoys working with people and making a genuine difference to their future career prospects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting prospective learners from initial enquiry through to enrolment, providing high-quality Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) and ensuring they are matched to the right programme first time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interview and assess prospective learners
  • Provide Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)
  • Manage learner onboarding and enrolment processes
  • Complete eligibility and funding compliance checks
  • Support Maths and English initial assessments
  • Maintain accurate learner records and reporting
  • Attend careers fairs and recruitment events
  • Build relationships with referral partners and stakeholders
  • Support achievement of recruitment and enrolment targets

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within recruitment, interviewing, customer service, employability or similar people-focused environments
  • Experience within education, apprenticeships, training or careers advice would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
