Are You Ready to Shape the Future?

Due to significant growth, Skills for Security, the leading provider of apprenticeships to the Fire and Security sector, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate Learner Skills Coach to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Are you passionate about helping people develop their skills, achieve their potential and succeed in their careers? If so, a career with Skills for Security could be for you.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships, you’ll deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment support to apprentices on Customer Service, Business Administration, Team Leader, Operations Manager and Associate Project Manager standards.

You don’t need to have knowledge of the Fire and Security sector to be successful in this role, the key to success is owning a caseload of approximately 40 to 45 learners and supporting them from enrolment through to end-point assessment (EPA).

Our learners are at the heart of everything we do, so our Learner Skills Coaches create an engaging learning experience, maintain momentum and compliance, and work closely with learners, employers and colleagues to secure timely, successful outcomes.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK but must be within commutable distance to one of the centres listed below:

  • Watford
  • Dagenham
  • Walsall
  • Warrington

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
