Salary: £32,847.26 per annum, plus £4,775.00 London allowance for candidates based in London only.

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: London – Ashfield House

Type of Working Arrangement: Blended approach of home and office-working is available, Compressed Hours available.

Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for your next exciting career move? British Transport Police have an excellent opportunity for an L&D Administrator – RSAS (Railway Safety Accreditation Scheme) to join the Learning & Development team.

Be part of a team that helps people develop their skills, realise their potential, and build rewarding careers. In this role, you'll provide essential administrative support within the central Learning & Development function, helping to deliver impactful learning experiences that support the organisation's future success.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate training course bookings, schedules, resources, venues and delegate administration.
  • Provide first-line support for training-related enquiries via telephone, email and internal systems.
  • Maintain accurate training records, learner data and compliance information, producing reports as required.
  • Work closely with trainers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of training programmes.

What you'll bring to the team:

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous administration experience in a busy customer-focused environment.
  • Experience working within a call centre, helpdesk, customer service or administrative support role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Experience of coordinating bookings, managing records and maintaining accurate data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst managing a varied workload.
  • GCSEs (including English and Maths) or equivalent qualification/experience.

  • Experience of working in an operational or L&D role within a police environment.
