Bring learning to life. Build confidence. Make an impact.
At St Elizabeth’s, learning and development isn’t just about completing training. It’s about giving people the skills, knowledge and confidence to make a genuine difference to the children, young people and adults we support every day. We’re looking for an experienced, engaging and hands-on Learning & Development Advisor to join us for an initial six-month period. And we’re flexible about what that could look like.
Full-time? Great. Part-time? Let’s talk. Experienced L&D consultant looking for your next assignment? We’d like to hear from you too.
This opportunity is open to both internal and external applicants.
This is L&D where you can see the impact
This is an on-site role, and that’s important to us.
You’ll be working alongside the people delivering our education, care and health services – understanding what they need, responding to real challenges and creating learning that makes a difference in practice. One day you might be delivering an engaging induction session to new starters. The next, you could be working with a manager to identify a learning need, reviewing compliance, developing new training content or facilitating a practical workshop. It’s varied. It’s people-focused. And you won’t be stuck doing the same thing every day.
What will you get involved in?
You’ll have the opportunity to:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
