Macmillan Davies is delighted to be working exclusively again with a national construction company to recruit a newly created Training & Development Coordinator role, joining the business at a really exciting time of growth and development. With a new CEO, a developing HR team and new HR leadership in place, there is plenty happening across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to join a business where they can bring ideas, improve processes and genuinely help shape how Learning & Development is delivered.
The Role
Reporting to the Training & Development Partner, you'll provide hands-on coordination and support across the full Training & Development agenda, with an immediate focus on embedding the newly introduced Learning Management System. With the new LMS being launched around four weeks ago, you'll play an important role in supporting its continued implementation and helping managers and employees get the most from the system. Previous experience supporting or managing an LMS implementation or rollout would therefore be particularly valuable. You don't need experience of large enterprise platforms such as Workday or Oracle, we're looking for someone comfortable working with a straightforward LMS who understands how systems, processes and great coordination can make learning more effective.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
