About VetPartners
VetPartners is a European veterinary group built on respect, collaboration, clinical freedom, and vet-led leadership. We are a family of over 12,000 people across 850 sites in nine countries, supporting small animal, farm, and equine practices. Our Learning and Development team exists to help our colleagues grow, and this is a brilliant opportunity to be part of shaping how learning happens across our family of practices.
About the Role
The Design and Content Coordinator owns the design, platform, and end-to-end learner journey for VetPartners. Your practice background gives you real insight into what colleagues need from their learning, while your content and design skills let you turn that insight into engaging, effective material. This is not a clinical subject-matter role; it is about owning how learning is designed, built, and experienced across our learning platform. Practically, this is an office-based role, in York, with some hybrid working flexibility, by agreement.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and build engaging eLearning content and learning journeys on our learning platform
- Own the end-to-end learner experience, ensuring content is accessible, well-structured, and easy to navigate
- Develop marketing-style communications to promote learning content and drive engagement across the business
- Work with subject-matter experts and clinical colleagues to translate learning needs into clear, well-designed content
- Explore and apply AI tools to create content more efficiently and to support innovative approaches to learning design
- Maintain and continuously improve the learning platform, including content updates, structure, and user experience
- Use learning and development experience to ensure content reflects sound instructional design principles
- Monitor content performance and learner engagement, using insight to refine and improve the learning offer
- Collaborate with the wider L&D team to ensure content supports broader programmes, including the Graduate Development Programme

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
