I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What will you be doing?
Own clinician onboarding
You will manage the training journey from a clinician joining Montu through to being ready to work independently.
You will:
- Design and deliver structured onboarding for different clinician groups alongside our lead training clinician.
- Coordinate training and track progress.
- Identify knowledge gaps, delays or barriers and provide additional support where needed.
- Continuously improve the onboarding experience.
Deliver practical Montu training
You will train clinicians on the systems, processes and pathways they need to work effectively at Montu, including:
- Clinical systems and patient portal
- Patient eligibility and suitability
- Prescribing processes and standards
- Prescription pathways
- Documentation and record keeping
- SOPs, governance and escalation pathways
Training should be practical and engaging, using demonstrations, workshops, system practice, case-based learning and assessments.
Build capability
You will develop clear learning outcomes and assess understanding throughout training, working closely with clinical leaders and subject matter experts to ensure content remains accurate and up to date.
Clinical standards and prescribing guidance will remain governed by Montu’s clinical leadership. This role is focused on learning, capability and operational readiness rather than making independent clinical decisions.
Improve and scale training
You will use feedback, data and operational insight to make onboarding faster, clearer and more effective as Montu grows.
This will include developing training materials and learning pathways, maintaining a central source of training content and supporting refresher training and the rollout of new systems and processes.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong experience in training, learning and development, onboarding or operational enablement.
- Experience designing and delivering structured training programmes.
- Excellent facilitation and coaching skills.
- Confidence training experienced professionals.
- The ability to simplify complex information.
- Strong organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering systems and process training.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
