At ETM Group
At ETM Group, we don’t just serve great food and drink in some of Central London’s most incredible venues, we create unforgettable, EPIC experiences. But we know that our guest experience can only ever be as good as our team’s experience. That’s where you come in.
We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic L&D Lead to take ownership of ETM’s Training & Development journey. We don't want someone who just clicks through slides; we want an inspirational storyteller, a natural coach, and a culture champion who brings genuine passion to every room they walk into.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Head of Talent and sitting within a close-knit, fast-paced People team, you will be the beating heart of our learning culture. Your mission is to make learning stick, making it fun, interactive, and impactful.
- Set the Standard: Lead our vibrant EPIC Foundation Induction and Onboarding, ensuring every new starter feels the ETM energy from Day 1.
- Drive Gamified Learning: Take the reins on Attensi (our EPIC Quest platform), building and refreshing bite-sized, gamified content that our teams genuinely want to play and learn from.
- Empower the Team: Create and deliver dynamic, internal training workshops (from Steps of Service to Management Soft Skills).
- Bridge the Gaps: Proactively identify skills gaps across both Front and Back of House, partnering with General Managers to build tailored Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
- Manage the Levy: Own and optimise our Apprenticeship Levy, maintain relationships with external providers to build robust career pathways.
- Keep us Safe & Sound: Oversee all mandatory compliance training, ensuring everything from Health & Safety to Fire Marshal certifications are perfectly tracked and up to date.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
