The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how learning supports the Law Society's ambitions. You will lead our organisational learning strategy and annual plan, working across the organisation to identify current and future capability priorities and create learning that helps colleagues and teams perform at their best.
You will partner with senior leaders, people managers and People & Organisational Development colleagues to design inclusive, accessible and innovative learning solutions. From coaching, mentoring and development conversations to blended learning and learning in the flow of work, you will create a connected experience and use insight to demonstrate impact.
This is an exciting and influential role for an experienced learning professional who combines strategic thinking with practical delivery. You will have the opportunity to build a strong learning culture, develop the L&D Co-ordinator and make a visible difference to organisational capability now and for the future.

What we're looking for
You will:
- Be an experienced learning and development professional with a proven track record of leading learning strategies and delivering plans and programmes aligned to business priorities and future capability needs, towards building a culture of learning and innovation.
- Be able to diagnose capability needs and translate them into inclusive, practical and engaging blended learning solutions that support behaviour change, embed our ways of working and learning, that enhance workplace performance and enable our people to be their best.
- Combine strong learning design and delivery expertise with confidence using digital platforms, data and evaluation to improve accessibility, user experience and measurable impact.
- Be skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and people managers; managing suppliers, budgets and competing priorities; and coaching and developing others to deliver high-quality learning outcomes.
