Learning & Development Manager
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client is a leading global consultancy with a strong international presence and ambitious growth plans. Operating across multiple sectors and regions, the business is recognised for delivering expert advice on some of the world's most complex projects. With specialists collaborating across disciplines and geographies, the organisation combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative, people-focused culture.
As the organisation continues to grow, it is making a significant investment in learning and capability development and is now looking to hire its first dedicated Learning & Development Lead. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the L&D function, build scalable learning frameworks and processes, and create a long-term capability strategy that supports both employee development and business performance.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll identify development needs, create impactful learning solutions, and deliver engaging training that drives performance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical delivery in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality learning programmes aligned to business priorities and capability requirements.
- Establish and embed the organisation's learning and development frameworks, processes, and governance.
- Partner with stakeholders across functions and geographies to identify learning needs and translate these into practical solutions.
- Build scalable learning pathways and development programmes to support future business growth.
- Create and maintain structured learning frameworks, pathways, and materials to support employee development.
- Deliver engaging training sessions, both virtually and in person, to a global audience.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve content and delivery approaches.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define long-term capability priorities and learning initiatives.
- Contribute to broader people and organisational initiatives where capability development is required.

More about you
- Proven experience in a Learning & Development role with a strong focus on programme design and delivery.
- Experience building and delivering training programmes for diverse, global audiences.
- Experience creating or improving learning frameworks, processes, and structures within an organisation.
- Ability to translate business needs into structured, practical learning solutions.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with confidence delivering to varied stakeholder groups.
- Experience working within fast-paced, growing organisations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility across different functions and seniority levels.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience within a professional services, consultancy, engineering, construction, or project-based environment would be advantageous.
