Learning & Development Manager
Location: London (hybrid)
Salary: £85,000-£100,000

With a strong focus on developing its people and enhancing organisational capability, the business is investing heavily in learning initiatives that support both employee growth and long-term business success.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is passionate about developing people, enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with leaders and stakeholders across the business, you will identify capability needs, develop innovative learning programmes, and champion a culture of continuous development.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with a practical approach, taking ownership of learning initiatives from concept through to delivery and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement learning and development programmes that support organisational objectives and workforce capability.
- Partner with business leaders to identify skills gaps and emerging development needs across teams.
- Design engaging learning content, programmes, workshops, and development pathways for employees and managers.
- Deliver training sessions and learning interventions through both virtual and face-to-face formats.
- Manage and enhance learning frameworks, resources, and tools to support employee growth and career development.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives using feedback, data, and performance measures, making continuous improvements where required.
- Support leadership development, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with the wider People team on organisational development and change programmes.
- Ensure learning solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organisation.
- Manage relationships with external learning providers and training partners where appropriate.

About You

- Proven experience in a Learning & Development Manager, Learning Partner, or similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience designing and delivering learning programmes across a variety of audiences.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with confidence delivering both virtually and in person.
- Experience conducting learning needs analysis and translating business requirements into effective development solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels.
- Experience supporting leadership development, employee development, and broader capability-building initiatives.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable using data and feedback to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated, commercially aware, and able to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
