Learning and Development Manager

Aqua Restaurant Group is home to a unique collection of restaurants and bars in vibrant cities like London, Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Miami, and Dubai.

As our Learning and Development Manager, you will be driving employee development and training initiatives across our restaurant group.

Where are we located?

The position will be based in our Support Office located on Borough High Street, neighbouring the Shard and a stone’s throw away from the historic Borough Market. Our office is conveniently next to Borough station, and a 5-minute walk away from London Bridge station - making it well connected to Central and Greater London. Part of the job also involves frequenting our incredible venues across Central and West London, with restaurants never over half an hour away.

Your Day At Aqua

  • Training & development strategy: You will identify learning needs, design and deliver engaging training programs, and maintain materials to enhance employee skills and support business objectives. The expectation of this role is to be delivering ongoing training, including inductions days, service training and leadership training and creating those training.
  • Onboarding & ongoing development: You will coordinate onboarding and professional development programs, including leadership and operational skills training, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Evaluation & culture building: You will assess training effectiveness, maintain records of employee development, support career progression, and mentoring.

You will be paid £26,487.64 per annum. In addition, you can be a part of the venue’s Tronc system, which may give you up £21,160.00 and £28,512.36 extra per year. The Tronc system is managed by the Tronc Master.
