About The Role

Learning & Development Partner

Support Centre / School-Based Locations

Term-Time or Hybrid Working Available (minimum two weeks' annual leave taken during term time)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Learning & Development Partner to join our People team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate L&D professional to drive learning, career development, succession planning, and leadership capability across a growing education organisation.

Working closely with School Leaders, People Leads, and the People Partner, you will play a key role in creating and delivering impactful learning initiatives that help colleagues develop, progress, and thrive throughout their careers.

About The Role

As Learning & Development Partner, you will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning and development programmes across the organisation. You'll identify capability gaps, create engaging development solutions, and support career progression pathways that strengthen our talent pipeline and future leadership capability.

This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by fostering a culture of continuous learning, supporting professional qualifications, and helping colleagues reach their full potential.

  • Identify learning and capability needs across schools and support functions.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programmes, workshops, coaching, and development initiatives.
  • Create learning resources and toolkits that support consistent and effective practice.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions and use data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support colleagues with career development and progression opportunities.
  • Coordinate professional qualifications and accredited development programmes.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to support individual growth and performance.
  • Lead succession planning and talent mapping activities to identify and develop future leaders.
  • Deliver management and leadership development programmes for current and aspiring leaders.
  • Work closely with external training providers and professional bodies to enhance learning opportunities.

About You

You are a proactive and engaging learning professional who is passionate about developing people and enabling organisational success through high-quality learning experiences.

Essential

  • Relevant L&D, teaching, coaching, or equivalent qualification and/or experience.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering learning and development programmes.
  • Experience supporting colleague development and career progression.
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work across multiple locations and build effective relationships.

  • Experience within education, care, or another regulated environment.
  • Experience supporting professional qualifications.
  • Experience delivering leadership and management development programmes.
