Talent & Development Partner

Curious about what’s next? So are we. Join Compare the Market and help to make financial decision making a breeze for millions.

At Compare the Market, we’re a purpose-driven business powered by tech and AI. We’re building high-performing, results-driven teams with the skills, mindset, and ambition to deliver outcomes at pace. Every role here plays a part in driving our mission forward, and we create an environment where you can bring your authentic self, grow a truly characterful career, and see the direct impact of your work on the lives of our customers.

We’ve carved a meerkat-shaped niche and we’re looking for ambitious, curious thinkers who thrive in a fast-moving, high-impact environment. If you love accountability, embrace challenge, and want to make a real difference, you’ll fit right in.

We’d love you to be part of our journey.

As Compare the Market continues to evolve its capability, skills and leadership agenda, we're looking for a Learning & Development Partner to help build the workforce capabilities needed to deliver our strategic ambitions.

This is not a traditional Learning & Development role: the focus is strategic, data-led capability and future skills partnering rather than high volumes of course design or training delivery. The Talent & Development Partner is responsible for building organisational capability, leadership effectiveness and workforce readiness across the business. Partnering closely with senior leaders and HR Business Partners, you'll shape and deliver scalable capability, learning and performance solutions that drive business outcomes, support organisational growth and strengthen our culture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
