Learning & Development Sales Trainer
Location: National (UK Travel Required)
About The Role
At Huws Gray Group, we're looking for a passionate and commercially focused Learning & Development Sales Trainer to help our colleagues build the skills, confidence and behaviours they need to deliver outstanding customer experiences and sales performance.
Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you'll design, deliver and evaluate impactful blended learning solutions that support sales capability across the Group. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll translate business needs into engaging, practical learning experiences that drive measurable performance improvements.
This is a highly visible role that combines training delivery, sales coaching and learning design, supporting colleagues and managers across multiple locations throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Sales-Focused Learning
- Play a key role in delivering the Learning & Development strategy across the business.
- Design, develop and deliver engaging sales training programmes that are commercially focused and linked to business performance.
- Deliver training across topics including:
- Sales skills
- Customer experience
- Customer engagement
- Communication and influencing skills
- Associated soft skills
- Support sales-led change initiatives through targeted learning interventions that help teams adapt and perform confidently.
Coach and Develop Colleagues
- Act as a sales coach and mentor, supporting colleagues and managers to embed learning into everyday practice.
- Provide coaching, feedback and on-the-job support to improve sales behaviours, confidence and consistency.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the Group to identify capability gaps and development opportunities.

Design Learning Solutions
- Create practical, sales-focused learning materials including:
- Facilitator guides
- Workbooks
- Role-play scenarios
- Toolkits
- Digital learning content
- Ensure all learning content remains accurate, relevant, accessible and aligned to business objectives.
- Maintain an up-to-date catalogue of learning materials and resources.
Measure Impact
- Evaluate training effectiveness through learner feedback, observation and performance data.
- Monitor attendance, engagement and achievement against learning objectives.
- Share meaningful insights with stakeholders, highlighting successes and identifying further development opportunities.
- Continuously improve learning solutions based on business needs and performance outcomes.
Operational Excellence
- Coordinate all aspects of training delivery, including scheduling, communications, learner administration and session preparation.
- Work collaboratively with HR and business teams to support wider capability, technical and development programmes.
- Keep training materials updated in line with changing systems, processes and best practice.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Recognised training qualification such as ETA, CTP or equivalent.
- Experience delivering sales training across multiple learning platforms and delivery methods.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end training cycle.
- Proven experience designing learning solutions for different learning styles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong coaching, facilitation and feedback skills.
- Experience of Huws Gray Group systems and processes would be advantageous.
