L&D Specialist

Brighton | Hybrid (3 days in the office) | Permanent | Up to £40,000

LHH is partnering with a Brighton-based organisation to recruit an L&D Specialist to join their HR team on a permanent basis.

This is a hands-on learning and development role focused on coordinating training activity, supporting employee development, and helping deliver an engaging learning experience across the business. It would suit someone with previous experience in HR, Learning & Development, Organisational Development, or another people-focused role.

The role

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating training programmes, learning platforms, and development resources
  • Identifying development needs and recommending practical learning solutions
  • Working with managers and external providers to deliver effective training
  • Supporting employee development initiatives across the business
  • Maintaining and improving learning materials and systems
  • Providing administrative and coordination support for L&D activity

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in HR, L&D, OD, or a people-focused role
  • Experience supporting learning initiatives, training, or employee development
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders across the business
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace
  • Proficiency using HRIS systems
  • A proactive and collaborative approach
