Title: Learning and Study Centre Advisor (Term Time)

Hours: 15 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum

Salary: Up to £8,477.74 per annum (£24,994 FTE)

Job Description

Are you passionate about empowering learners to succeed independently? Chelmsford College is seeking a proactive and student-centred individual to join our dedicated team as a Learning and Study Centre Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion independent learning and study skills across all curriculum areas
  • Support students in dynamic, busy timetabled Study Centres and our newly launched Learning Resource Centres
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Study Centre Manager to promote and advocate for academic resources, including innovative digital tools
  • Motivate students to stay engaged, focused, and on track with assignments and coursework
  • Encourage the development of transferable skills and instil a strong work ethic in every learner
