Goresbrook School opened in September 2014, with three classes of Reception children, and has made tremendous progress. As a new all-through school, Goresbrook has a rare opportunity to innovate, and create a superb, continuous learning experience for children from 3-18 years. Our Primary school opened in September 2014, and our Secondary school opened in September 2016. We have the children; we have the brand-new state-of-the-art building; we now need you!
If you are passionate about your subject, and are excited by rigorous and innovative curriculum design, we are the school for you. You are very welcome to visit us, even if you don’t end up applying for the post. We are 20 minutes on the tube from Mile End, and just 15 minutes drive from East London. We love to have people visit, to participate in children’s learning and see what we offer our children.

Learning and Teaching Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join us and play a significant role in the lives of our young people. We require an experienced Learning & Teaching Assistant.
The success of Goresbrook is underpinned by a dynamic and highly motivated team of professionals, working and learning in a warm and friendly environment. We passionately believe that all our children have infinite potential, and it is our job to empower them. We are determined to make a difference for all of our pupils and are looking for like-minded staff to join us.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom to help them achieve their full potential.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver learning activities and provide individual or small group support.
- Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Assist with the preparation of resources and support pupils' personal, social and emotional development.
