BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Learning Co-ordination Supervisor to join our team. Working 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday. This is a hybrid role predominately working from home and/or office.

As our Learning Coordination Supervisor, you will join a busy People Services function to support and supervise the administration and coordination of learning activities.

Making Possible

  • Planning and managing team workloads to ensure departmental objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervising and coordinating learning and training activities to meet business and compliance requirements.
  • Monitoring expenditure, managing cost allocations, and ensuring accurate financial administration, including purchase requisitions and internal cost transactions.
  • Ensuring compliance with departmental quality processes and industry competency requirements.
  • Managing and maximising CITB grant funding opportunities, ensuring claims are accurate, recorded, and submitted on time.
  • Preparing for and supporting internal and external audits where required.
  • Producing, analysing, and maintaining learning reports, management information, and competency matrices.
  • Acting as the SAP MM Key User, providing system expertise and support to the team.
  • Overseeing the administration and continuous improvement of the BAM Learning platform.
  • Coordinating learning events and activities, ensuring a seamless learner experience from booking through to completion.
  • Maintaining accurate learning records and administrative systems to support effective reporting and compliance.
  • Delivering excellent customer service by providing guidance and support to employees and managers on learning processes and procedures.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing direct reports through effective performance management and regular feedback.
  • Approving timesheets and expenses and ensuring team compliance with company policies.
  • Staying informed of industry developments and regulatory changes, translating these into practical guidance and process improvements.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve departmental efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery.
  • Gathering and reviewing feedback from learning activities to support continuous improvement and enhance the learner experience.

  • Approachable and supportive leadership style
  • Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
  • Ability to influence and motivate teams through change
  • Previous experience in busy and varied Supervisory role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
  • Experience of managing, inputting, and creating accurate data.
  • Experience of working with Learning Management System desirable
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be a positive, contributing member.
